There are approximately only 75 licensed foster homes throughout the entire county of San Luis Obispo. Every year approximately 45 of our San Luis Obispo County children are sent out of the county to high-level group homes. Currently there is not a facility in the county of San Luis Obispo which can provide the level of care needed by some children to resolve problems and resume healthy development.
